A Simple Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) in Excel
One of the most important steps in any Six Sigma project is the ANOVA or Analysis of Variance. ANOVA is found in the Analyze phase of the DMAIC methodology (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control).
ANOVA is used depending on the type of data that is available whether it is attribute or continuous and which distribution it follows if the data is not normal.
As we put training materials together for future podcasts and such, we will provide a better explanation of statistical analysis and how the various tools are used.
