Today’s download features a SWOT analysis template for Microsoft Excel. The SWOT template is a classic tool used to identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of your process, your people, and even your products as you perceive them as compared to the competition.
The SWOT Analysis tool is best used as a team exercise (like the SIPOC), with various team members or stakeholders contributing to the analysis. What makes this tool a great team-building tool is that it’s consensus based. In other words, it is a nice, democratic way for various departments to agree to disagree on the various aspects.
