Lean Six Sigma Certified Black Belt and Patient Flow Process Improvement Expert Joins Medworxx – Financial Post

appointment of Lori Frampton, RN, MHS, Certified Lean Six Sigma Black
Belt, as Vice President of Patient Flow Process Improvement and Data
Analysis. Building on Medworxx’ current 30% Canadian hospital bed market
share and growing international presence, Frampton will concentrate her
efforts on optimizing data analytics and process improvement
methodologies to support hospitals’ patient flow efforts.

With 18 years of health industry experience including senior roles with
Royal Victoria Hospital, Ontario MOHLTC and Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial
Hospital, Frampton will leverage a wealth of performance improvement
knowledge and patient flow best practices for Medworxx. Prior to
joining, she was the Director of Community and Acute Quality Improvement
Programs for Health Quality Ontario. She also led a provincial team
responsible for the delivery of lean process improvement projects
throughout Ontario hospitals.
She brings a wide range of expertise to this position including:
healthcare management, process improvement, hospital operations
leadership and coaching teams to achieve higher performance levels.
Medworxx has established an innovative framework for the Patient Flow
Diagnostic Program that has been implemented by consulting practices.
The program provides consultants with a diagnostic toolkit consisting of
high-level data and analytics that identify real-world barriers and
delays in patient flow. Applying the program, consultants are able to
gain clear visibility into performance gaps and translate this insight
into high impact improvement recommendations in dramatically shorter
timeframes. Frampton will leverage her experience, skill-set, and clear
vision to manage the program and take it to the next level.
